Newcomer Tactics for Double-Hand Poker

January 31st, 2016 at 6:21

Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the west in a wonderful game for early level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the dealer, unlike almost all other poker games that players play against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players do not need to fret about any other, more experienced players taking their cash.

An additional Pai Gow advantage is the generally leisurely game pace, novices are able to take their time and strategize without needing to make hasty selections.

It is also much simpler to enjoy for a very long time with only a small bit of cash seeing as, to lose, both of your hands needs to be under each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the dealer is given 7 cards face down.

One 5 card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
