Web poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years several variations on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling 21 than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer rather than each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or different kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the dealer announcing "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different players receive 5 cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the bank’s initial card, you need to in turn make a call wager or bow out. The call bet’s amount is akin to your beginning ante, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the wager is the face off. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, including a figure on par with the initial wager. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The bank pays cash equal to your bet and controlled odds on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
