Online poker has become globally acclaimed lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many variants on the original poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the croupier saying "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the house and of course every one of the other players acquire 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you have to either make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s value is equal to your original ante, which means that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes directly to the casino. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, with a figure in accordance with the original wager. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The casino pays money equal to your bet and fixed expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
