Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the wild west in an awesome game for beginning level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the casino, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers wager against other players. By playing against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to be concerned about other, more experienced individuals winning their money.

A further Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game play, novices are able to take their time and scheme without having to make frenzied decisions.

It is also much simpler to bet on for a long time with basically a little bit of cash seeing as, to lose, each of your hands must be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is given seven cards faces showing and the croupier receives seven cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the dealer’s.
